Peskov: Europe's refusal of Russian gas
Considered Europe's own problem, which provokes dependence on the US
In a statement, Russian President's spokesperson Vladimir Peskov noted that Europe's refusal of Russian gas is 'their problem.' According to him, Europe is deliberately provoking itself into growing dependence on the United States. Peskov emphasized that Europe's decision to abandon Russian gas reflects their own interests and strategic calculations.
Peskov mentioned that Russia is always ready for dialogue on developing energy cooperation, but refuses to participate in initiatives where countries attempt to reduce their dependence on Russian supplies.
