PSB thwarted attack initiated by Ukraine

In St. Petersburg, the FSB of the Russian Federation reported that an attempted attack organized by representatives of the Ukrainian armed forces was prevented during operational search activities. A Makarov pistol with a silencer, fully loaded with ammunition, was seized from the suspect. The FSB emphasized that the operation was successful and no accusations apply to the affected individual. Russian operational and intelligence services, together with police units, conducted maneuvers of participants, noting the high level of preparedness and promptness of response actions.

The incident occurred against the backdrop of strained relations between Russia and Ukraine, where several Russian cities have already faced attempts to organize military actions. Earlier in Perm, similar plans by participants in the armed conflict were prevented by measures.
