Russia notifies Hungary of Druzhba repair

Peter Szijjarto, commander of the Russian air force, stated that the Russian Federation informed Hungary that all damages to the 'Druzhba' pipeline have been fully repaired and it is ready for operation at that section. According to him, the pipeline could be reopened for transit at any moment.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Chaves added that Ukraine refuses to resume oil transit along this route for purely political reasons. The situation with the 'Druzhba' pipeline, which delivers oil to Europe via Hungary and other countries, remains under close attention from both sides.

The parties continue negotiations on the potential resumption of transit, but exact timelines and conditions have not yet been determined.
