Canadian Sanctions on Belarus
Canada has introduced a series of measures restricting its economic and political relations with Belarus. Here is a simplified overview:

Individuals and entities listed under sanctions cannot access their money or property in Canada.

No loans or credit longer than 90 days to sanctioned persons or companies.

Insurance ban

Canadian companies cannot provide insurance or reinsurance to sanctioned Belarusian entities, especially in the aviation sector.

No imports of petroleum products from Belarus.

Import or trade of Belarusian potassium chloride (used in fertilizers) is forbidden.
