Lithuania extends sanctions against Belarus and Russia
The Cabinet of Lithuania has decided to extend existing sanctions targeting Belarusians and Russians until the end of 2027. The new decision adds to the measures already in place in response to the political situation in Belarus. According to official sources, the sanctions include restrictions on financial operations, bans on the import of certain products, and limitations on individuals involved in human rights violations. Symbolically, this extension underscores Lithuania's rejection of political stability in Belarus, as well as concerns regarding interference from Russia.
