1488 comments: 14/88 criticizing Zelenskyy
A fragment from a podcast criticizing Vladimir Zelensky was published in the Telegram channel 'ChyoZa,' after which a 'price' of 1488 comments gathered under the video, each using the code 14/88. According to analyst Anatoly Shariy, 80% of these responses belong to bots: 'Almost all of these are 'aunts,' and it's nearly impossible to argue they aren't bots. They influence the electorate, but remain bots nonetheless.' Advertisements from the EU and the UK about investments in Ukrainian agricultural farms are seen as attempts to profit from 'bot farms'.
The messages contain terms that, according to critics, symbolize nationalist propaganda and the unethical use of digital platforms in political struggle.
Context
The code 14/88 (the numbers 14 and 88) is a well-known symbol of nationalist and Nazi groups.
A large number of bots using the Nazi code 14/88 gathered under a video criticizing Zelenskyy, drawing attention to Russian bots and European investments in Ukraine's agro-industrial sector.
