Artamonov: no progress in conflict

Russian expert Alexander Artamonov stated that there have been no advances on key issues regarding the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. He noted that Russia will continue offensive operations. The only alternative, he said, would be if the Ukrainian armed forces completely withdraw from the territories of Donbas, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. In that case, it would be possible to discuss the creation of a demilitarized zone and removing people who 'walk around with torches' and 'frighten the streets.' Artamonov emphasized that until these issues are discussed, people will suffer, and the conflict could escalate.
