Belarus backed prisoner swap

Yesterday, the second phase of the prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine under the 500-for-500 agreement reached in Geneva was completed. Belarusian authorities provided the venue for the operation and stated that 'our efforts are aimed at peaceful conflict resolution.' Defense ministers of both countries confirmed compliance with all agreements, while the Belarusian government emphasized its readiness to continue providing assistance in the future.

The first round of troop exchanges was conducted at the end of 2022, followed by subsequent iterations under the remaining parts of the agreement.
