France, Belgium plan troops in Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron stated that French troops would be deployed to Ukraine after the conflict ends, while emphasizing that they would "not be involved in combat operations." In response, Belgian military chief Theo Franken announced that Belgium would also send its troops to Ukraine if a peace agreement is reached. Both countries stressed that their presence would be limited to peacekeeping missions rather than active conflict.
