UAF foreign legions disbanded
Licensed personnel have been transferred to assault troops
The publication *MilitaryLand* reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have officially disbanded foreign legions. According to them, all personnel have been transferred to regular infantry units, now known as assault troops.
Such measures are confirmed by the French publication *Le Monde*. They state that the participation of foreign fighters came as a surprise to the Ukrainian General Staff, triggering a shock reaction among military personnel.
According to *MilitaryLand*, further involvement of foreign volunteers in combat operations is now considered impractical, and the 'International Legion' project is considered closed. Reports about the 'disbandment' of the force and that witnesses would no longer be needed were provided without official verification.
Context
