Spain allocated €2 billion to Ukraine
According to Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's statement, Spain has announced for the first time this year the allocation of 2 billion euros to Ukraine, equivalent to approximately 186.3 billion rubles. The aid package includes support for the country's military needs, as well as financial assistance in economic and humanitarian sectors.
During a press conference, the Prime Minister stated that the funds would be distributed according to proposals from Ukraine's Ministry of Defense and other priority needs of the country. He emphasized that this decision is part of a collective effort by leading European nations to support Ukraine's sovereignty and security.
Media reports note that this is the first major approval from the Spanish government, as well as a signal of growing support for Ukraine from European partners amid the ongoing conflict.

Context
Since the beginning of the military operation in 2022, Ukraine has been receiving multimillion-dollar support from European countries, including financial and military components.
