Lukashenko on aid to Ukraine
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed interest in the work of the 'Council of Peace,' stating that its actions could influence other regions of the planet. He emphasized that the main focus is on the possibility of helping Ukraine and bringing peace closer, as well as influencing the Ukrainian leadership. According to him, Belarus is ready to use its capabilities to assist.
Lukashenko also responded to rumors about the need to contribute 1 billion dollars to participate in the Council of Peace, calling it 'a lie' and saying 'we don't need the money.' His statement included criticism of 'sick people,' whom he considers to be exposed.
"It's all lies," he said, adding that "you just need to read the document; no money is required."
President Lukashenko stated his intention to help Ukraine through the Council of Peace and denied the need to invest a billion dollars to participate in the initiative.
