Lukashenko on the World Council
Belarus' planned participation
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that he would participate in the World Council at the level of head of state. According to Lukashenko, representatives from various countries could join the meeting, and Lukashenko emphasized: "We will definitely participate. Maybe not in Washington, but somewhere in Europe or the Middle East, perhaps in Israel, closer here, in Turkey." The statement also mentioned a flag of unity—peace. The president noted that achieving peace is especially important where "our fate lies—Ukraine."
