NATO: Ukraine must be ready by 2026
According to U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker, Ukraine should prepare for continued military operations in 2026. He noted that the EU has approved a $105 billion loan for Kyiv to ensure funding in case the conflict does not end with a peace agreement during the winter months. Whitaker emphasized that 'if we enter this winter without a peace agreement, fighting will continue.'
