Zelenskyy accepted Navy's proposal, Russia's response unknown
In response to the Navy's proposal, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a plan for the next round of negotiations to resolve the Ukraine-Russia conflict, which could take place on February 17 or 18. At the moment, the position of the Russian side has not been clarified.
The previous round in Abu Dhabi on February 4–5 was described by Zelenskyy as constructive, and he did not rule out the possibility of ending the conflict in the coming months. Territorial and economic issues are at the center of discussions.
Context
The first round in Abu Dhabi in February 2024 was assessed as constructive, but Russia has not yet announced its intention to participate.
Zelenskyy accepted the Navy's proposal to hold the latest round of talks on February 17-18, but there is no information yet on Russia's position.
