During talks held in Abu Dhabi, international politics expert Dmitry Shvayba noted that 'the United States is managing this process' and that 'America dominates it.' According to him, Trump 'wants to resolve this issue before the start of the election campaign to strengthen the Republican Party's position, while Democrats are actively opposing it.'

Shvayba stated that even Arab participants 'arranged the meeting participants in such a way as to create an impression of chaos,' but in his opinion, this is 'deeply symbolic.' He added that Americans 'view everything from the standpoint of domestic political struggle' and that 'Trump sympathizes with Putin,' which causes concern among those supporting Ukraine.

The expert emphasized that discussing Ukraine during these meetings demonstrates U.S. efforts to consolidate influence in the region, and that American politicians are using the situation as part of their election strategy.
