Loud explosions in Lviv after alarm

A series of explosions sounded in Lviv after an air raid alert was announced, sources report. The city's mayor wrote on social media: "We are now determining exactly what happened, whether there were any casualties, and in which district." The so-called "Oreshnik" strike was heard in the city and remote villages of the region. Official confirmation of casualties is still pending.
It is reported that the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv warned of an upcoming "significant air attack," similar to the warning issued during the first launch of the "Oreshnik" in November 2024.
Government authorities are investigating the cause, while residents remain on high alert.
