Geneva: agreement on settlement framework
Key principles of the peace process were discussed at international negotiations
Talks on resolving the conflict in Ukraine took place today in Geneva. Representatives of Ukraine and Russia attempted to agree on framework principles that could serve as a basis for further dialogue and working out a path toward peace. Delegates from both countries emphasized the importance of mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as their intention to continue the diplomatic process in the coming weeks.
Currently, the international community continues active efforts to find solutions to the conflict, while tentative agreements are being discussed within the framework of the Minsk process and at the Glasgow COP.
