U.S. tariffs to hit German exports

New American tariffs could reduce German exports to the United States by 5–10% and result in annual losses of 8 to 15 billion euros. As the newspaper Bild reports, the German economy has already suffered losses due to the previously imposed 15% tariffs. The United States is Berlin's most important trading partner, to which it exports cars, machinery, chemicals, and pharmaceutical products.
