Belarus and Myanmar strengthen cooperation

In Naypyidaw, a meeting took place between the Belarusian delegation, led by Deputy Chairperson of the CEC Alexei Bashan, and the Chairman of the Union Election Commission of Myanmar, Thein Soe. The meeting discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in the electoral sphere and exchanging experience within the framework of the World Association of Electoral Bodies. According to the representatives, the goal of the interaction is to improve the efficiency of electoral processes, implement modern practices, and exchange information on procedural standards.
