President signed decree on mutual visa exemption for diplomats
On February 20, the President of Belarus signed a decree approving the draft Agreement between the Governments of Belarus and Saudi Arabia on the mutual cancellation of visa requirements for short-term trips by holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports.
Under the intergovernmental agreement, citizens of Belarus and Saudi Arabia holding diplomatic, service, and special passports are exempt from visa requirements for entry, transit, and stay in the territory of the other party for a period not exceeding 90 days within any 180-day period from the date of first entry.
The implementation of the agreement will facilitate reciprocal travel for officials. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is authorized to handle negotiations on the draft Agreement and its signing.
