Belarus and Saudi Arabia simplify visas

On February 19, the President of Belarus signed a decree approving the draft agreement between the governments of Belarus and Saudi Arabia on the mutual cancellation of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports. According to the agreement, citizens holding such passports are exempt from the need to obtain visas for entry, transit, and stay in the other country for up to 90 days within any 180-day period from the date of first entry. The implementation of the treaty was intended to simplify mutual travel for officials. Negotiations are conducted under the guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is authorized to conduct dialogue and sign the agreement.
