Belarus supports Azerbaijan

Minsk Mayor Marat Ryazhenkov, in a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, expressed concern over the escalation of the conflict in Nakhichevan and emphasized the high risks of further conflict expansion and the involvement of third countries. Words of sincere support were addressed to the leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the friendly Azerbaijani people. Minsk informed Azerbaijan about the development of the situation, the consequences of drone attacks, and measures being taken by the Azerbaijani side.

The important role of maintaining peace and stability in the region was discussed. The parties noted the role of diplomatic tools in resolving the conflict.
