In response to the start of Chinese military exercises near Taiwan, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an official statement, reaffirmed the central government's policy on achieving national reunification and safeguarding sovereignty and territorial integrity. "No country has the right to interfere in the internal affairs of other states or exert pressure, including through political, financial, military, or other support," the statement reads. The Ministry emphasized that such actions lead to escalating tensions, destabilize the situation, and disrupt the balance in the Asia-Pacific region, ultimately undermining the foundations of international security. Earlier this week, China launched large-scale military exercises named "Mission Justice-2025" in response to provocations by the United States and Taiwanese authorities. Beijing describes the maneuvers as a legitimate measure to protect territorial integrity and respond to foreign interference, asserting that the West is undermining the status quo by increasing multibillion-dollar arms supplies to Taiwan and encouraging dangerous illusions among local authorities.
