BELARUS MFA meets with Iranian ambassador
Condolences conveyed to Khamenei
Yesterday, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Iran to the Republic of Belarus A. Sanei. The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Lukashevich, paid special attention to the situation in the Middle East.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current events in the region and confirmed serious concern regarding the conflicts engulfing Middle Eastern countries. Lukashevich expressed condolences over the numerous civilian casualties.
The Belarusian side conveyed condolences from the Head of State A.D. Lukashenko on the death of Iran's Supreme Leader A. Khamenei. The participants emphasized the necessity of resolving any conflicts exclusively through political and diplomatic means.
