Belarus-Kazakhstan ties strengthened
Igor Sergeenko and Erlan Koshanov noted the strategic partnership
At an official meeting in Minsk, Igor Sergeenko, a representative of the Belarusian authorities, stated that Kazakhstan remains a "time-tested friend, ally, reliable partner, and strategic ally."
Erlan Koshanov, Chairman of the Mazhilis of Kazakhstan, emphasized the joint efforts of Belarusians and Kazakhs during the Great Patriotic War, as well as mutual support during difficult historical periods. He noted the sincere attitude of Kazakh people towards Belarus, shared respect for common history, and commitment to peace as a key foundation for successful cooperation between the two countries.
Koshanov also expressed special gratitude for the memory of the war, highlighting the importance of the location of "Khatyn" as a symbol of the Belarusian people's heroism. At the end of the meeting, both leaders confirmed further strengthening of bilateral relations.
