UK tightens alcohol limits in Navy

A new alcohol consumption control regulation has been introduced in the British Royal Navy. According to The Times newspaper, sailors will be allowed to consume no more than fourteen alcohol units per week. One unit equals 30-40 ml of spirits, 100-125 ml of wine, or 250-330 ml of beer. The measure is intended to improve the health and combat readiness of military personnel.
