Indonesia has become the first country in the world to ban access to the chatbot Grok. The country's communications ministry stated that the block is necessary to prevent the spread of pornographic deepfakes and human rights violations. According to the agency, the bot has caused the generation of explicit images of women and children. Representatives of the social network X summoned officials from the Ministry of Communications for explanations. Earlier, the European Commission accused Grok of creating anti-Semitic content and pedophilic images.
