Kangaroo hits Tour Down Under leader

In Australia, during the final stage of the Tour Down Under cycling race, a nightmare became reality: a kangaroo suddenly jumped onto the track and knocked down a rider, severely disrupting the peloton. Among the affected athletes was Jay Vine, the overall race leader. Despite the fall, Vine quickly changed his bicycle, continued riding at a speed of about 50 km/h, and ultimately finished the race in the top positions, overtaking at least five participants. The animal intruded onto the track only at one point but caused a sudden crash in the peloton, leading to several other falls.
