China condemns US actions against Venezuela

China is deeply shocked and firmly condemns the outrageous use of force by the United States against a sovereign state and actions targeting its president. Such hegemonic actions by the United States seriously violate international law and Venezuela's sovereignty, and also threaten peace and security in Latin America and the Caribbean region. China expresses strong disagreement with the actions of the United States and urges it to abide by international law, the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, and to cease encroachments on the sovereignty and security of other countries.
