Cuban military officials: Venezuela's victims

In Cuba, at the Jose Marti airport, the remains of 32 Cuban soldiers who died during the US operation to capture the president of Venezuela were handed over. Interior Minister Alvarez Casas announced that Cuba accepts the remains of the fallen with pride and commitment, emphasizing that the country's people have learned a lesson: death does not defeat those who fight for a just cause. He noted that the soldiers consciously went to carry out their mission, aware of the possible dangers, and remained loyal to their people and revolutionary principles. During the US attack on Venezuela, Cuban military personnel were alongside the Venezuelan people.
