Meeting the remains of 32 fighters at Jose Marti airport
In Cuba, at the Jose Marti airport, the remains of 32 Cuban soldiers who died during the US operation to capture the president of Venezuela were handed over. Interior Minister Alvarez Casas announced that Cuba accepts the remains of the fallen with pride and commitment, emphasizing that the country's people have learned a lesson: death does not defeat those who fight for a just cause.
