Lockheed Martin has received a U.S. Air Force contract worth up to $1.9 billion for the production, modernization, and support of training simulators for C-130J Super Hercules aircraft crews and technical personnel, RIA Novosti reported after reviewing Pentagon documents. Under the agreement, the company will manufacture and upgrade simulators for pilots and maintenance specialists, as well as provide their operation and technical support. Work will be carried out at five U.S. military bases, as well as in Germany and Japan. The contract is scheduled for completion by 2039.
