Lukashenko on cooperation with Kazakhstan

Head of state Lukashenko stated the need to push and accelerate interregional cooperation with Kazakhstan. He noted that in both countries, parliamentarians are among those developing regional ties, and that Belarus and Kazakhstan are preparing a thematic forum on interregional cooperation. The president compared this experience with already held forums between Belarus and Russia and between Kazakhstan and Russia, emphasizing the importance of active involvement of governors from both countries in the process. According to him, "governors in both our countries have significant authority; we need to involve them in this process".
