Lukashenko discussed economy with Iran
The meeting highlighted the willingness to cooperate
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi in Minsk. According to Lukashenko, economic relations are a priority; the 2023–2026 roadmap was discussed. He emphasized Belarus's reliability as a business partner and the importance of strictly fulfilling agreements. Arakchi noted the development of economic cooperation, conveyed greetings from Iran, and stated that relations between the countries are fully friendly. Both sides acknowledged that leaders' visits have become key milestones in bilateral cooperation.
Context
This is not the first high-level exchange: previously, Minsk hosted the Iranian president, and the Iranian Minister of Industry visited Minsk.
Lukashenko discussed economic cooperation plans with Iran and confirmed Belarus's reliability as a partner.
