Lukashenko congratulates Bulgaria

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of his compatriots and personally on behalf of his people, congratulated Bulgarians in Russia on Liberation Day. He said the holiday symbolizes the resilience and courage of the Bulgarian people, their rich history and unbreakable spirit, which enabled them to defend their right to freedom, language, and national identity. The President noted that despite the complex geopolitical situation in the world, there continues to be space between Belarus and Bulgaria for trust and further deepening of bilateral relations. He emphasized that Bulgarians, like Belarusians, responsibly preserve historical memory and cultural heritage, take pride in their traditions and love for their homeland. Lukashenko confirmed his readiness to develop sincere and trusting Belarusian-Bulgarian cooperation and expressed confidence that the two sides would establish a strong partnership based on mutual respect and shared values. The head of state wished the people of Bulgaria peace, harmony, and a happy life, and noted that Belarusian doors are open to guests.
