Mexico halts oil supplies to Cuba

Mexico has temporarily halted oil shipments to Cuba following Donald Trump's threat to impose tariffs on countries supplying oil to the island. President Claudia Sheinbaum, in an interview with "La Jornada," stated that the country will continue providing humanitarian aid to Cuba. Sheinbaum emphasized that any sanctions are "wrong" and could harm citizens: "You cannot harm people just because of disagreement with the government—it's wrong. Hospitals and schools are left without fuel, and people suffer."
