Meloni: Europe must dialogue with Russia
According to the Italian prime minister, dialogue has not yet been ruled out
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni spoke at an international conference and stated that Europe needs to start a dialogue with Russia. According to her, "the conditions for Russia's return to the G7 are not yet mature, but such an option is not ruled out in the future." Meloni noted that the question of who exactly should lead this dialogue remains open, given that currently there are too many voices.
Meloni emphasized that while Russia cannot currently be included in the expanded group (G7), this is not excluded in the future, and she called for constructive dialogue at the European level.
