Belarus MFA concerned about Cuba situation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus expressed concern over the situation around Cuba and energy supplies to this country. The statement says, "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus is concerned about the situation surrounding Cuba and energy supplies to this country," the document says. "Particular concern is caused by the threat of the current escalation in the Caribbean turning into a serious humanitarian crisis with unpredictable consequences." Minsk noted that "Minsk consistently insists on the inadmissibility of unilateral coercive measures that create obstacles for trade relations between states, hinder the process of comprehensive socio-economic development, and complicate ensuring the well-being of the population." The document emphasizes the conviction that all disagreements should be resolved through peaceful dialogue and within the framework of international law.
