MFA urges caution in the Middle
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus issued a statement expressing concern over the escalating confrontation between Israel and Iran, which has also affected the countries of the Persian Gulf. The official message called on the involved states to refrain from military confrontation and to redirect efforts toward resolving disputes through political and diplomatic means.
The MFA emphasized that Belarusian citizens in the affected countries must strictly comply with local requirements for personal safety, avoid mass gatherings, and refrain from filming attacks. Considering reports about the closure of airspace in the region, travelers are advised to verify flight route information with airlines and tour operators.
Moreover, the Ministry of Defense recommended refraining from travel to countries where the conflict is ongoing and warned of the need for prompt information regarding possible changes.
Consular services of Belarusian foreign missions in Israel, Iran, Qatar, and the UAE continue to provide necessary support to citizens affected by the escalation of the conflict.
