Munich: US urges EU to abandon

At the Munich Security Conference, organized by Germany's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the United States called on the European Union to abandon the protection of the outdated 'world order.' According to representatives of the U.S. government, this order no longer corresponds to the changed global reality and must be updated. Conference participants presented a number of proposals for modernizing approaches to international security and strengthening cooperation between NATO and EU countries.

The United States emphasized the need to address reality, the level of threats, and new challenges to which the world must respond. During the discussion, positions were reinforced that traditional models are unable to solve modern problems related to combating cybercrime, oligarchic structures, and transnational threats.
