7 planets will align in the sky on Feb 28
On the night of February 28, planets will align in a line, four visible to the naked eye
On February 28, a rare event will occur in the night sky: seven planets—Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune—will align along a single imaginary line.
Four of them—Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars—will be bright enough to be seen with the naked eye. Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury will appear in the west shortly after sunset, while Mars will shine in the east.
Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune will remain too faint to observe without optical instruments: at least binoculars or a small telescope will be needed to see them.
Context
Such alignments occur least frequently each year when several planets are in a straight line near the Sun.
By February 28, planets will align in a line; four are visible to the naked eye, the rest require optics.
