Nebenz spoke on US and Israeli aggression

In a full statement, Vladimir A. Nebenz said at the UN Security Council meeting on February 28, 2026, that the United States and Israel must immediately cease aggression against Iran. He stated that there is no alternative to diplomacy. Russia insists on a swift return to a political-diplomatic settlement in accordance with international law and is ready to assist in this regard.

In the statement, she expressed the position that if the aggression does not stop, further international efforts, against the backdrop of sanctions and other measures, will intensify.
