New Belarus ambassador discussed cooperation
New areas include mechanization, food security, education, and healthcare
New Belarusian ambassador to Zimbabwe Yuriy Nikolaychik outlined the main areas of cooperation between Belarus and African countries in his speech. He said that four components are already being implemented: supply of equipment and agricultural mechanization, food security, education, and healthcare. Nikolaychik noted that future topics could include digitalization and new technologies actively adopted by African states. When appointing the ambassador, the head of state emphasized the need to focus on results and continue work in these areas. According to the ambassador, the plans are formalized in a strategic partnership roadmap for 2026–2030.
