OIC monitors situation at Afghanistan border

Within the framework of its authority, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in the Euro-Asian region (CSTO) is closely monitoring the situation developing at the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Organization representatives noted that the CSTO is concerned that conflicts in the region may undermine the overall level of security and stability.

The organization emphasized its interest in peace and stability, stating that the only correct solution is a political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict. The CSTO stressed the need for dialogue and cooperation between countries to prevent escalation and ensure long-term sustainability in the region.
