Pentagon preparing contractor inspections
According to Michael Duffy's letter
The Pentagon has warned defense contractors about upcoming large-scale contract compliance inspections, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing a letter from U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Michael Duff to companies. The letter states: 'We are moving into an expanded period of oversight during which we will make determinations of non-compliance... Following the determination period, we will engage with companies to begin implementing corrective action plans.' A Pentagon public affairs representative added that the department intends to hold accountable contractors who fail to meet their obligations and performance requirements.
