EV sales rose 9% in November

Global electric vehicle sales in November rose by 9%, reaching 1.96 million units and capturing 29.5% of the market. Of these, 66% were pure electric vehicles (BEV), the rest were plug-in hybrids (PHEV). According to MarkLines and JATO Dynamics, a record 18.5 million electric vehicles were sold from January to November, 22% more than the previous year and exceeding total sales for the entire year of 2024. In China, growth was +13% compared to last year, in the US a 41% decline was observed due to subsidy cuts, while in Europe sales rose by +30%, approaching an annual record of ~360,000 vehicles.
