Record snowfalls in Alaska and Canada

In December 2023, over 2.1 meters of snow were recorded in the city of Juneau, located in Alaska, and in January, more than one meter was documented. These figures are already surpassing the established regional record. Similarly, in Montreal, Canada, excessive precipitation was observed, also placing these measurements among the highest of the decade. According to local meteorologists, these volumes indicate an intensification of extreme weather events in northern latitudes.
