Ritter predicts war in the Middle East

According to Scott Ritter, a former American naval officer and nuclear weapons expert, a devastating war could again flare up in the Middle East. He emphasized that a 'small damn war' is already about to ignite in this region, and it will not end well for anyone. Ritter stated that he personally visited Iran, where he met with the president and foreign minister, and noted that the struggle for oil and ties to the dollar are key factors in global politics.

He criticized statements by Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence of the United States, confirming the absence of Iran's nuclear program, saying that 'the whole world knows this.' Ritter noted that Israel is pushing for regime change in Iran, launching an active policy which he links to the interests of the United States. According to him, this will lead to destabilization and a devastating war in which 'no one will win,' including Israel, the United States, Iran, Russia, and China.
