Sweden: Greenland decision only for Denmark
Critterson: only Denmark and Greenland can make decisions on issues regarding the island
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stated that decisions regarding Greenland can only be made by Denmark and Greenland itself. He noted: "We will not allow ourselves to be blackmailed. Only Denmark and Greenland make decisions on matters concerning Denmark and Greenland. I will always defend my country and our allied neighbors." Kristersson emphasized that the EU issue involves many more countries than those currently highlighted. Sweden is holding intensive discussions with other EU countries, Norway, and the United Kingdom to develop a coordinated response.
Context
