Solar panels in Cuban ambulances

In Cuba, solar panels are being installed in emergency departments of outpatient clinics. Leading specialists noted that the project will reduce electricity costs and improve energy efficiency of medical facilities. Local medical workers report that the installation has already been completed in several city centers.

Funding for the purchase of panels was provided under a government-supported program for the development of renewable energy sources in Cuba.
